Today is a rare day and I actually don't have work after school! I love that job, but I really need the study/reading time, so I am pleased.

BUT,

I am realizing that this is an issue. I am at school wearing sweats and a $5 t-shirt I bought in a sale bin in Japan. Apparently I only put outfits together for work. I was thinking I was actually dressing nicely. MISTTAAAAAKE.

I value comfort. And breakfast.

Subaru, My One and Only

My Subaru is nearing the end of its life I fear. Why is my baby leaking coolant AND oil?! Why does the cruise control light not work anymore? Why is the front left speaker busted?

I've pulled the codes on that thing several times and apparently there's something wrong with the catalytic converter. My knowledge of fixing cars does not extend to the catalytic converter.

Now I will dream of Subarus...

Today is QUICKLY/already has

turned into a multiple-cups-of-coffee kind of day. Shouldn't food and sleep be giving me that daily energy naturally?! I am only fueled by a couple hours of sleep, a REALLY WEIRD GRAINY BRAN MUFFIN, and coffee. I feel that I should not be drinking coffee at 20...perhaps it is alright, but I get the feeling that I should wait until I'm a grad student or something. BUT, I have a new coffee tumbler that I am SUPER EXCITED about (for some reason).

Also, Microsoft is buying Skype?! They better not start charging...I would be even more broke.

As I sit here in an empty Japanese community center classroom in industrial Sun Valley (did not get the memo about no class), I have become overwhelmed with the urge to put these videos up. NUMERO DOS

Number two on the list of REASONS TO BECOME VERY WEALTHY.

Number one being so I can buy all the delicious food in the world and become obese. Well, number one is actually so I can just travel around the world for my entire life, but EATING ALL THE FOOD OF THE WORLD goes along with traveling everywhere and is basically 50% of the experience.

Eating delicious food is always number one on my list. (Honestly, I am easily impressed by food, though, so many many things are delicious to me.)

But NUMBER TWO is so I can walk into stores like Free People and buy all these little things. I really only have like three or four favorite stores and they're all just a LITTLE BIT above my price range. I do not care for designer stuff. Too much of a waste of money. But I CARE FOR FREE PEOPLE.

And WHAT IS GOING ON AT 0:19?! So pretty and amazing :) AM I RIGHT?!

My Desk :)

SOOOO...one day I decided to get rid of my bed and get a futon instead. MEANING...I basically sleep on the ground and fold this thing up "every" morning. Once I started sleeping on the ground, my previous desk started looking REALLY tall and I was thinking, "HEY, this thing is very large. I should get rid of it and replace it with a nice low desk so I can sit on the ground instead." So I got rid of my desk. And never got that nice, new low one.

PROBLEM IS, I use Skype a lot and I have NOWHERE TO PUT MY LAPTOP. So I have fashioned this pile of books and shoeboxes to put my laptop on. I have used this "desk" for the past 6 months or so and I am coming to the realization that the longer I use this pile of whatever and accept it, the more and more ghetto my room is becoming. Bahahah WHAT? WHY?

This is what it looks like. I LOVE PRETZELS so there is a bowl of pretzels and some water up there. Usually there is a laptop on top. I must say, though...it is VERY STURDY despite looking like it's about to all topple over.

NEED NEW DESK. HOW TO ACHIEVE GOAL OF GETTING NEW DESK?

APPRECIATION

I am gearing up for Appreciation at Anthro, becaaauuuseeeee...I can't afford anything unless it's during Appreciation. It's Appreciation at Urban right now, though, and THAT is PLEASING. Minus the Urban that I work right next to is SHOOPAH SHTINY. Vat is even more exciting is that Appreciation for Anthro is happening while I am in Oregon. Which means I actually get my FULL DISCOUNT because I don't have to pay 10% tax like I pay HERE in the STATE OF CALIFORNIA. NO SALES TAX IN OREGON! :D How wonderful is that?! :)
