I am addicted to True Blood. I just finished watching the first season and WTF?! It's sosososososo GOOD- oh jesus so good. Not like "24 is really good" or "Gossip Girl is really good" type good. Like REALLY GOOD. Addicting. You don't suspect anything.
My sister read all the books True Blood is based on (she read them a while ago...why did I not catch on then...?) and apparently the show follows the books pretty closely. That's a plus, too.
SERIOUSLY go watch True Blood- you will not regret it.
Oh Bill Compton and Jason Stackhouse...
The opening credits alone are worth watching.
